My name is Angie Ma. I make music under the name Sewing Pattern. I also play keyboards for Murdertron, and occasionally bass for Health&Beauty. I am 25, live in Chicago, and am constantly in awe of the amazingly creative friends I am surrounded by.

I work an office type job, and am also a voice and piano teacher. When I come home, I spend any free second avidly writing music, cooking, and learning to make everything else my heart desires.

Some of my favorite things in life include floral patterns, the color mauve, disco, and Graham and Mr. Fox.

Some of my least favorite things include bugs, the beach, and the constant anxiety I feel that I am not spending my time as productively as possible.

If I could wish for one thing in the world, I would wish for everyone to get to do the thing that they work hardest on and love the most, and make a comfortable living doing so.
